I am a qualified and experienced person-centered counsellor and although I am qualified as a person-centered counsellor, I also work with an integrative approach. This means, I draw from other approaches if I feel it would be useful for my client in order to meet individual client needs as every client is unique in their own way.
I offer an environment which is confidential, warm, welcoming, non-judgmental and accepting. A space in which you can feel free and safe to talk about your worries, fears, anything that you may be struggling with at your own pace, in your own time. I will walk beside you offering you the support you need until your needs are met.
I believe that every individual has the ability to grow and strive and reach their full potential when shown a non-judgmental approach, respect, acceptance, empathy and congruence.
I work with individual adults and teenagers. I support teenagers with concerns around school, exams, relationships and anxiety.
I have also worked as a volunteer bereavement counsellor for a bereavement service in the London borough of Brent. My work here enabled me to gain extensive experience in supporting children, young people and adults through the difficult process of losing a loved one.
I specialise in bereavement and depression. Other areas I specialise in include cross-cultural relationships.
