People seek counselling for various reasons,
Whatever your reason may be, which is unique and personal to you, counselling can help you get a different perspective on things by providing you a safe and confidential space in which you can explore any difficult challenges that you may be experiencing in your life.
You will be listened to in a way which assists you to make sense of how you feel and why and enable you to get a better understanding of yourself and your relationships with others.
Counselling can help empower you, increase your self-awareness and enable you to feel better equipped to face difficult challenges and feel more in control.
Counselling encourages you to make changes that are possible and desirable to your circumstances in order for you to move forward and live your life fully and positively.
You are invited to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to book a 50 minute no obligation initial session.
During the initial session, we can address any questions or concerns you may have regarding counselling and the counselling process it self.
An initial session gives us the opportunity to get to know each other and see if we can be able to work together for further sessions. We will be looking at what brought you to counselling and what you expect to gain from it. You may share whatever you wish with me. It will all be confidential.
I will be able to explain what counselling is about, how I work and what you can expect from me. I will also be able to address the practicalities of counselling by looking at confidentiality, cancellations, fees and payment policy.
If after the initial session, we are both happy and comfortable to work together, only then, will we book further sessions. Future sessions will be held on a weekly basis at the same place and at the same time.
Initial Assessment fees: I charge £40 for an initial session which lasts 50 minutes.
